GOLD Project 2013- Cook Islands
Participate as a member of the GOLD Project Team in 2013. The Cook Islands Girl Guide Association has been established for over 80 years and is now in need of modernising and energising, which is one of the main focuses of the GOLD project. The GOLD team will work with Guides, Ranger Guides and Leaders to inspire, motivate and teach them new skills and ideas.
Dates: Two weeks in September / October, 2013. Confirmation of actual dates to be advised. A briefing weekend will also be held to train and prepare participants. Suitable dates to be decided after team has been selected.
Venue:
Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Open to: Members aged 18-30 years. Skills required include enthusiasm, passion for Guiding, cultural awareness, teamwork, training skills desirable but not essential.
Cost: $ 2500 including domestic and international flights, accommodation and meals.

International Ranger Event- New Zealand 2014
A fantastic program is being planned for participants with possible activities such as tramping, kayaking, cycling, culinary, NZ Culture, stage / drama, movie production, horse riding, caving, rafting and many more exciting activities. Note that some activities may incur additional costs to the registration amount.
Dates: 4-11 January 2014 Venue:
Wesley College, Pukekohe, Auckland
Open to: Girls aged 13-18 years at the time of the event and their Leaders
Cost:
Girls- $ 645 per person Leaders- $ 285 per person
Airfares: approximately $ 700( from Sydney)
Additional costs include International Scarf $ 15, International Contingent Support fee $ 80, Administration fee $ 150 and Travel Insurance Fee Recovery $ 120
