Indicators of Learning - Assessments
Several measures , both standardized and curriculum based , are considered when planning and designing instruction and programming . During the 2021-2022 school year , our students participated in required state assessments , including the PSSA and Keystone Exams , as well as advanced placement , SAT , and NOCTI exams .

Pennsylvania System of School Assessment ( PSSA )
The PSSA is a standards-based , criterion-referenced assessment administered in the spring of the school year . Students in grades 3-8 were assessed in English Language Arts ( ELA ) and Mathematics . Students in grades 4 and 8 also participated in the Science assessment .

National Occupational Competency Testing Institute ( NOCTI )

The NOCTI is a series of assessments for students studying career and technical programs . Our students participate in these programs at North Montco Technical Career Center ( NMTCC ). Thirty PV students were assessed in their field of study . |
