Misha Goetz Hoyt’ 09 and her dad, Marty Goetz, led a group of 50 + people to Israel as they filmed a live concert overlooking Jerusalem, along with a 26 piece orchestra, on May 28, at the TBN studios.

Jeff Orr’ 09 and wife Caroline recently moved back to Nashville where he became a new partner at the dental practice of Dr. Thomas Nabors, DDS.

Esteban Pedraza’ 09 is living mostly in Brooklyn but splits time between Brooklyn and Nashville. After graduating from film school at NYU five years ago, he is writing, directing, and editing movies. He has had the privilege of playing at some great film festivals around the country and has worked with amazing actors and production companies. When not working on creative projects, he is a freelance editor in the commercial world.

Russell Robinson’ 09 lives in Dallas, TX, where he started a career in the brokerage industry. He began trading stocks, bonds, and options before moving to the account side. He travels to NYC, Nashville, St. Louis, Cleveland, and throughout the Dallas-Fort-Worth area for work.

Thomas Sanders’ 09, is working at the University of Florida. He married Tarver Shimek in June 2018.

Emily Sullivan Smith’ 09 and husband Matthew welcomed their first child in October. She works at St. Thomas Surgery Center at Midtown as a nurse in the preop / PACU for outpatient surgeries. They recently purchased their first home in the Grassland area. She also serves as a member of the CPA Alumni Board.( See also Births and Adoptions)

Grace Steinbrecher Rhea’ 09 married Taylor Rhea on July 8, 2017. The couple currently lives in Cape Girardeau, MO, where Grace is a nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center in the Level III NICU.

James Charles’ 10 graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Visual Effects. He has worked on the following movies: San Andreas, Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Huntsman: Winter’ s War, Star Trek Beyond, Wonder Woman, Blade Runner 2049, Pacific Rim: Uprising, and Ant- Man and the Wasp. He was part of the team that won an Oscar for Blade Runner 2049 this year.

Sam Crenshaw’ 10 lives in Nashville and works for CoreTrust Purchasing Group, a division of HCA.

Becca Feick’ 10 is working as an engineering data analyst at Cook Biotech in West Lafayette, IN, and is involved with the local Civic Theatre.

Dabney Wilson Hummel’ 10 and Kevin Hummel were married on April 8, 2018 by former CPA soccer coach Brett Armstrong at The Barn at

Sycamore Farms in Franklin. Dabney and Kevin met through a beloved patient while they both worked at Vanderbilt Children’ s Hospital. Dabney is a pediatric cardiac nurse, and Kevin is a resident doctor. After the wedding, the couple moved to Salt Lake City where Kevin is completing his fellowship in Pediatric ICU, and Dabney will be working as a pediatric ICU nurse. She is also completing her graduate degree in nursing education.

Mathison Ingham’ 10 became a Christian at Rice University his sophomore year( 2012) and is now a campus pastor there. This year he became the assistant director of the campus ministry at Rice. He was married a year ago and his wife, Alyssa, is also on staff with Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship.

Katie Dobbins Perkins’ 10 married Corey Perkins March 30, 2018. They live in Redding, CA., where she works for Bethel Church, and he works for Iris Global Ministries.

Abbye Myers Reeves’ 10 lived in Austin, TX with her husband, Kyle Reeves’ 08. She works for US Imprints, a promotional product and brand building company out of Franklin, TN and moved to Nashville in spring 2018.

Caitlin Ruff’ 10 has completed her first year of law school at Brooklyn Law School. She had a summer internship in NYC with a medical malpractice firm.

Kevin Ryan’ 10 is working in Nashville for Pharos Capital, a private equity firm investing in growing healthcare companies that help solve the current and future challenges healthcare presents in America while also improving patient outcomes.

Peter Wanca’ 10 recently married his girlfriend of four years, Megan Maddox. Megan is a nurse at Centennial Hospital, and Peter works for a local software company called Edgenet as an analyst. They live in Green Hills with their corgi named Ruby.

Julia Crenshaw Coffin’ 11 married Jacob Coffin on Sept 2, 2017. The couple resides in Manhattan.

Caroline King Dedeker’ 11 married husband Derek in 2017. The couple decided to leave New York City and move to Austin, TX, where Derek received a Senior Analyst position at Sante Ventures, furthering his career in venture capital. Caroline continues to pursue her Beautycounter business as a Manager.
