ALUMNI UPDATES 2018 ’06 Brooke Stevenson Durr Brooke Stevenson ’06 married Nashville native, Elliott Durr on Sept 16, 2017. Fun fact: he is an alum of FRA and Auburn, and she, CPA and Alabama... they are a house divided when it comes to football (Go Lions, Roll Tide)! They recently bought their first home in West Meade and live with their Chocolate Lab, Whiskey Brown and Golden Retriever, Marley. Brooke currently works in retail leasing at GBT Realty Corporation. Brooke Mooney ’06 married Taylor Shomaker on December 16, 2017. Brooke’s brother, Will Mooney ’01, was one of the pastors that officiated. Brooke started a new job this year as the Director of Events at Project 615 in Nashville. ’06 Brook Mooney Shomaker Olivia Patton Terrell ’06 lives in New York City with her husband, Andrew, and their son Asa. She has her own small business working as a jewelry designer. Her main focus is on creating everyday- wear collections as well as custom engagement rings and wedding bands. Liz Kirk Walker ’06 lives in Seattle with her husband and two dogs. She works as a personal trainer and loves living on the West Coast. ’07 Sally Ward Brewer Woodyard ’06 lives in East Nashville with her husband, Patrick, and works as the Creative & Brand Director for Paddywax, a global candle company based in Nashville. She also serves as a member of the CPA Alumni Board. Melissa Beall ’07 works on a goat farm on the Hildene property, summer home of Robert Lincoln. She is in charge of fiber arts, makes cheese, and herds goats. Elliott Dyson ’07 and Samantha Stevenson Dyson ’08 have been back in Nashville for almost four years. They currently live in Crieve Hall with their two children, Forrest (2) and Ellie Harper (1). Elliott is a project launch manager for Amazon and Samantha is a nurse at Centennial Medical Center. They both enjoy living close to their families. ’07 Melissa Beall 07 Elliot Dyson 44 Amy Ingham ’07 is on the board of Middle TN Oncology Nursing Society. She is a Clinical Research Nurse Specialist at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center and works in clinical trials for first- in-human cancer drugs. Richard “Sully” Sullivan ’07 is currently working with his dad at Sullivan Dental Partners in Brentwood, TN. He and wife Caroline will be married 5 years this August and are expecting their first baby in November. They live in Oak Hill with their dog Raley and love being back in Nashville. Sully also started a podcast for dentists called the Millennial Dentist. Purple & Gold / September 2018 Courtney Gott Whitsett ’07 lives in Nashville and married Kevin Whitsett, a touring musician, this winter. She is working for CREMA Coffee Roasters in wholesale client coordination & marketing/ social media. She continues to use her education in nutrition & food sciences in conjunction with her Natural Chef certification doing freelance work as well as working on creative video content. Jonathan Buntin ’08 resides in Crieve Hall with his wife of four years, Katie, and their black lab, Peyton. Jonathan is currently employed in real estate sales with Parks Realty out of The Gulch and Katie is employed with Vanderbilt Medical in their marketing department. ’08 Andrew Fuqua ’08 is living in Maui, HI with his wife Chelsea. He is currently finishing his last clinical rotation for Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Tennessee State University. He graduated in May 2018.
