2 . Organizes the officers for the year ’ s activities and calls and presides over all Executive Team meetings ;
3 . Appoints special committees , assigns a coordinator for each , and supervises their work ;
4 . Supervises the planning of the PTFA-Modified school calendar and programs for the year , in cooperation with the school administration ;
5 . Presides over PTFA-Modified meetings ; 6 . Writes notices to parents informing them of meetings and content ; 7 . Directs the construction of an annual PTFA-Modified budget for the School Board ’ s approval ; 8 . Reviews expenditures and adherence to the budget with the Treasurer ;
9 . Submits to the School Board a monthly written report ( that may consist of the monthly Executive Team minutes and Treasurer ’ s report and / or a written summary of the information );
10 . Reviews minutes from the Executive Team meetings and regular PTFA-Modified gatherings before they are finalized and distributed to the Executive Team members ;
11 . May disburse checks issued by CCS to PTFA-Modified concerns , as authorized .
12 . Arranges for the physical aspects of the PTFA-MODIFIED meetings : use of building , equipment arrangements , set-up , clean-up , etc .;
Treasurer 1 . Receives and submits for deposit of all PTFA-Modified funds to the CCS Business Manager , and disburses checks issued by CCS to PTFA-Modified concerns , as authorized ;
2 . Keeps clear financial records ( the books of the Treasurer shall be open at all times to the inspection of the Executive Team and the PTFA-Modified body at large at every monthly meeting and quarterly gathering );
3 . Balances books at the end of the school year ;
4 . Enables a transition each election year to the new Treasurer to ensure understanding of how the financial records are maintained ;
5 . Presents a written treasurer ’ s report at each Executive Team meeting and specific PTFA- Modified meeting ;
6 . Plans for the annual PTFA-Modified budget with the President and supervises it throughout the year ;
7 . Attends all PTFA-Modified Executive Team meetings ;
