Construction under way at O. L. Peacock Sr. Park
The City awarded a construction contract Oct. 27 for O. L. Peacock Sr. Park and issued the Notice to Proceed on Nov. 12. Construction is expected to be completed by July. Planned amenities include a figure-eight walking trail, on-street parking, two small picnic pavilions, a playground and new park signage.
First movie night
The Community Center team held its first free movie night, featuring " Halloweentown." Free popcorn was served, and families showed up in costumes and pajamas to enjoy a cozy themed night.
