Caroline Sturgis, Nate Rubel participate in Leading City Procurement Reform program
Last month, Caroline Sturgis, director of the Office of Management and Budget, and Nate Rubel, assistant director of Procurement, took part in the Leading City Procurement Reform program from the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, in collaboration with Partners for Public Good, alongside city leaders from across the world.
The program equips staffers to lead efficient, fair, results-driven and strategic procurement that we will put to work for residents’ benefit, delivering results people see and feel.
Thanks to what they learned, the City team now is working to refine its procurement process to be more efficient and responsive. The first project to benefit will be the California Corridor Improvements Project, aimed at delivering real traffic solutions to residents faster and more effectively. www. CityofPSL. com / Budget
