Upcoming public meeting, feedback session for Southbend Boulevard corridor improvements
The City of Port St. Lucie is developing a data-driven conceptual plan to enhance safety, improve traffic flow and support future growth along Southbend Boulevard.
Spanning approximately 4 miles from SW Oakridge Drive to SE Becker Road, the project focuses on multimodal improvements aligned with the City’ s 2045 Mobility Plan and Complete Streets principles. The corridor, a two-lane road with a 40-mph speed limit, serves more than 15,000 vehicles daily and includes a mix of suburban residential and rural areas. The upgrades aim to address crash hotspots, improve intersections and create a safer, more efficient roadway for all users of the road.
We invite residents to attend a public meeting Oct. 30 from 4-6 p. m. at Jessica Clinton Park to learn more about the project, share feedback and help shape the future of Southbend Boulevard. Your voice matters. Join us in building a safer, more connected community.
