Announcements
Construction starts for improvements at intersection of Tulip Boulevard, SW College Park Road Construction is starting in October to make improvements to the intersection of SW Tulip Boulevard and SW College Park Road to support pedestrian safety and facilitate smoother traffic flow. The key improvements for the project include removing the existing roundabout; extending the median on Tulip Boulevard to SW Sandbar Street; adding a right turn lane at the intersection of Gatlin and Port St. Lucie boulevards; extending the lane east of College Park Road; and installing a speed table north of Tulip Boulevard on College Park Road. Construction is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2026, contingent on weather conditions.
During the project, lane closures and traffic shifts are expected. To accommodate traffic and minimize disruption, the work will be conducted in phases. We urge drivers to exercise caution in the construction zone and adhere to designated detour routes.
This project is funded by mobility fees, which are one-time charges levied on new development or redevelopment. These fees are covered by developers, not by current residents or property owners.
