PSLPD attends 9 / 11 Remembrance Ceremony
PSLPD’ s Command Staff and Honor Guard paused to pay respects to those who were affected by the tragic events of 9 / 11.
As the day went on, it truly resonated how deeply this day impacted everyone. Whether it was shown through attendance at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center during the 9 / 11 Remembrance Ceremony, through posters of support from Girl Scout Troop 40147, at the Mission BBQ 9 / 11 Ceremony or simply from citizens stopping by the PD to give thanks, we thank you all for joining us in remembering those who were lost.
Crash victim receives bicycle helmet
We ' re extremely happy to report that 5-year-old Runner, who was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle to school in early September, has made a full recovery and is back at school!
CTI Brown and Crime Prevention Officer Bret LaGrega partnered with Safe Kids Treasure Coast after hearing about the crash to provide a muchneeded gift. Not only was Runner gifted a new helmet, so was his brother. Now they can ride their bikes together in Port St. Lucie safely! www. PSLPolice. com
