This project also helped remove a large sand bar that blocked the canals flow. The dredged material was the material used to fill the geotubes. Geotube bank stabilization is an environmentally friendly, versatile and effective method for controlling erosion and restoring shorelines.
Public Works hosts meeting to discuss updates to engineering standards
