Communications Department earns national recognition
The City of Port St. Lucie’ s Communications Department earned top honors from the Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards for two standout initiatives.
The City was recognized in the Multicultural Communications Program category for its Juneteenth celebration, which advanced community understanding of multicultural issues and encouraged dialogue among diverse groups.
The department also received an award in the K – 12 Educational Program category for its Florida City Week Youth Council project, an educational effort designed to inform and engage students through a series of promotional and instructional activities.
