Public Works attends American Public Works Conference
The American Public Works Association( APWA) hosted the annual Florida Public Works EXPO in Orlando. Representatives from our department attended the event, alongside professionals from across the state. The Expo centered around the theme of " Building Legacies." Attendees participated in learning sessions, seminars, equipment demonstrations and got the chance to network with other public works professionals.

The Capital Improvement resurfacing goal for FY 2024-25 is 21.68 miles with 5.65 miles completed to date. Residents will be notified in advance of resurfacing.

Public Works shows equipment to Parkway Elementary School
Public Works values the chance to connect with young residents and inform them about our contributions to the community. Recently, students from Parkway Elementary School visited City Hall as part of a school field trip. During the visit, Public Works showcased the equipment used in our operations. The students also met with representatives from other departments.
