FDOT hosts public meeting for updates on Port St. Lucie Boulevard
The Florida Department of Transportation recently hosted a friendly Coffee with the Contractor event at That Crepe Place. It gave residents an opportunity to ask questions and get updates on the Port St. Lucie Boulevard Project from Darwin to Alcantarra boulevards.
The team from Zahlene Contractors, along with project members, chatted with residents and answered questions. City representatives also provided information about the project from Gatlin to Darwin boulevards. We loved connecting with the community, ensuring everyone stays informed.
Traffic calming public meeting for Atlantus Drive
Public Works hosted a traffic calming public meeting April 7 at the Community Center for residents to learn more about proposed traffic calming for Atlantus Drive from SE Floresta Drive to SE Coral Reef Street.
Residents were able to review concepts, talk to City staff about concerns and provide input on safety improvements. Following the meeting, ballots were mailed out to residents living in the project area on Atlantus Drive to determine if they want to implement speed tables and traffic-calming improvements. The results of the voting will be presented to City Council at the Summer Workshop. To learn more about the City’ s traffic calming process, visit www. cityofpsl. com / trafficcalming. www.
