The parking lot at Minsky Gym was restriped( adding a new disabled parking spot) and sidewalk slopes were adjusted to meet standards in ADA transition plan.
Junior Basketball League held its evaluations April 18 and the draft April 25 with practices starting the week of May 11.
Fitness team participates in patriotic run event
On March 29, Mike Donovan, Jill Souza, Bre Gustave, Angie DeGuida and Sandy McKeithen from the fitness team participated in the We Do Good 5K in Palm City, a patriotic run supporting veterans, first responders and single parents.
The event kicked off at Jock Leighton Park, where they began their journey towards Veterans Memorial Bridge over the St. Lucie River. As they ran, they were treated to sweeping, sunrise views of the waterway and a moving tribute of patriotic flags honoring our nation’ s heroes.
And among the hundreds who showed up, Jill shone brightly, claiming the title of top female finisher. Her accomplishment added an extra spark of pride to an already meaningful morning.
