Communications continues to strengthen relationship with St . Lucie County Schools
In February , students from across the St . Lucie County Public Schools participated in St . Lucie History Day and Project Citizen .
Each year , students in secondary social studies classrooms develop their research skills by engaging in a social studies research project . History Day is centered around an annual theme set by the national competition coordinators . The theme for 2025 is " Rights and Responsibilities in History ."
Community Engagement Manager Stephanie Vernot has served as a judge for three years and this year also was joined this year by Engagement Coordinator Makenzie Spittler .
The Communications Department is very happy to have a wonderful partnership with the School District and staff looks forward to returning next year .
Good luck to all the students !
