Port St. Lucie participates in Florida League of Cities ' Legislative Action Days
Port St. Lucie recently attended the Florida League of Cities ' Legislative Action Days, an annual event that brings together municipal leaders from across the state to advocate for local priorities at the Capitol. This initiative provides cities with the opportunity to engage directly with lawmakers, discuss key issues impacting communities and ensure that local voices are heard in the legislative process.
Representing Port St. Lucie were Vice Mayor Jolien Caraballo, Director of Finance Stephen Okiye and Sabrina McLeod from the Strategic Initiatives & Innovation team. We also thank our legislative team for their hard work and dedication in coordinating these important conversations.
We extend our sincere thanks to the honorable members of the City of Port St. Lucie Legislative Delegation for their time and support in meeting with our team and members of the Port St. Lucie Youth Council: Sen. Gayle Harrell, Sen. Erin Grall, Rep. Dana Trabulsy and Rep. Toby Overdorf. These discussions are vital in shaping policies that strengthen our community and empower future leaders.
As we move forward, Port St. Lucie remains committed to working closely with our delegation on important legislation that affects our City.
