A.C. North America Launches Install &
Architainment Division, A.C. ProMedia
A.C. North America has announced the opening of its newest North American
division, A.C. ProMedia, a distributor of products and technologies aimed at the
install and architainment markets. A.C. ProMedia carries many of the brands
from A.C. Lighting’s current lineup, including Chroma-Q, Luminex, Lumenradio,
and Prolyte, as well as new brands to be announced in the near future.
“As a key component of A.C. North
America’s strategic business plan, we
have developed this new division … to
work closely with integrators, architects,
and specifiers,” says JF Canuel, managing
director of A.C. North America. “While
A.C. Lighting keeps focusing on its core
business and markets, A.C. ProMedia
is addressing the specific needs of the
install and architainment market.”
Mic Cardone has been named VP
of sales for A.C. ProMedia. Reporting to

Jean-Louis Blanchard, VP of strategic
business development, Cardone is responsible for building and leading a sales
team and managing all aspects of the sales function. Additionally, A.C. ProMedia
has hired Doug Schwartz as regional account manager for the Western U.S.

New Partnership
JAM Industries has announced a new partnership with the technology division
of Ireland-based DCC plc, a London Stock Exchange-listed international sales,
marketing, and support services group with revenue of $24 billon CAD.
