Vectorworks Names Canadian Sales Manager VECTORWORKS CANADA’S ERIC CARLSON Vectorworks Canada has announced the hiring of Eric Carlson as its new Canadian sales manager to increase Vector- works’ market presence in the country. Carlson has 16 years of sales, leadership, management, and business development experience in various industries, including technology, start-ups, mining, finance, manufacturing, clothing, and entrepreneurship. Carlson is tasked with increasing awareness of the Vectoworks brand and product offerings across Canada, with a key focus being on the Vectorworks Spotlight software for entertainment design. In September 2018, Vectorworks opened a new corporate office in Canada. To facilitate this new office, Vectorworks acquired Resolve Software Solutions and the assets of Paxar Technologies Corp., both long-time distributors of Vector- works design software. Center Stage to Spotlight Pro AV’s Role in Experience Design at InfoComm 2019 The InfoComm 2019 trade show floor will again feature the Center Stage from June 12-14 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Leading thinkers and practitioners from the fields of retail, entertainment, hospitality, events, and beyond will take the stage to explore how pro AV technology contributes to better experiences. “Center Stage is a representation of how AV can create staggering impact across a variety of markets,” says Rachel Bradshaw, director of pro- gram design for AVIXA. “The speakers will discuss how AV enhances people’s lives and provide attendees with actionable advice that can be applied directly to their projects.” Joining the Center Stage lineup is Heather Shaw, CEO of design studio Vita Motus, who will chat about how her team creates visual and physical productions for artists, festivals, and brands. GLP US Names William Irwin as Brand Manager for Scenex Lighting German Light Products US has announced the hiring of industry veteran William Irwin in the role of brand manager for Scenex Lighting.
