Because my first floor includes a theatre, I have installed smoke & heat
detectors within this space due to this room being the highest risk of fire. I
have also installed emergency lighting to ensure safe escape in case of fire.
There is a fire exit within the theatre space which includes a fire stair leading
to an alley behind the building to ensure visitors manage to get a safe distance
from the building. The other proposed fire exit is the front door on the ground
floor. In the case of fire the main spiral staircase will be used as a fire stair.
