Walk for Education
It is imperative to sensitize young people towards the lesser privileged and Dubai Cares’ initiative of WALK FOR EDUCATION 2016 served the purpose.
A good number of our students enrolled under the school name and reached the venue at Dubai Creek Park on Friday, 4th March at 9:00 am to participate in the 45- minute-walk, accompanied by the senior school coordinator, exams officer and two teachers.
It is a universal fact that morning walk is a prelude to a good day. Keeping us in good health with a peaceful mind, the walk helped raise funds for the education of children in need. The students walked in solidarity with millions of children in the developing countries who walk long distances every day to attend school. Posters were placed at strategic points with real life facts of the adversities faced by children in different parts of the world.
Students appreciated the awareness generated through a good exercise and fun activity with their friends.
