The Emirates Literature Festival
Fringe Festival
Year 3 students participated in the Fringe festival on 12th March. The Fringe is a series of free performance events held alongside the Festival. Performers come from local schools, theatre groups, poetry collectives and more to entertain Festival visitors with their talents.
The articulate and talented students of Year 3 represented the theme of “Stanger Danger” through the cautionary tale of the Spider and Fly by Mary Howitt originally published in 1829. They confidently conveyed the message of personal safety and security to the audience. The performance was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience who appreciated the talent of the young performers with their huge applause.
Emirates Literature Festival
Art Exhibition
Students participated in the Art exhibition by creating their art work to show their perception of ‘Time’. They used colour pencils, pastels and acrylic paints to create their master pieces on A3 paper. Students visited the Emirate’s Literature Festival Art Exhibition which was held at Dubai Festival City, to see their Art work and to appreciate the work of others on display.
