My Dad Is The Best ...
The Happy Wanderers ran a
competition through the schools to
find why children think they have the
best dad.
Children gave varying grounds but the
main reason appears to be centred
around love and laughter.

Winning entries were received from
Georgia Mijok and Jensen
Hargreaves who were awarded
vouchers at Robertson’s Bakery. Five
encouragement awards were also
given out and received a book prize
each, kindly donated by ‘The Ladies
at the Library.’

“I don’t think, I know, that my
dad is the best Dad because
he’s really funny!!!

If myself or any other family
members are upset or angry he
will do something funny, or silly
and it just ALWAYS makes us
laugh!!!
Because he gives me
cuddles and when he
goes away he gives a
kiss and another cuddle.
My dad REALLY loves us !!!

Every night before bed he gives
us hugs and kisses, walks us to
our rooms and turns off our
lights for us. He does lots of
other things that shows that he
