her story
Emma Kate loves the small town feel and traditions at Tallassee
High School. She is very involved, participating in Concert and
Choir Band, Show Choir, Yearbook staff, and being Student
Body President, a Pride of Tallassee Marching Band Majorette,
and a Competitive Dancer. Most people don’t know Emma
Kate has read every Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy title, and she
is left-handed. Emma Kate is most inspired by Mrs. Crain, a
special education teacher and majorette sponsor. Any spare
time during the school day, Emma Kate loves to visit with the
special education children in Mrs. Crain’s classes. She advises
freshmen to, “Be involved in everything you can, be nice to
everyone, and always ask questions.”
what’s next
Emma Kate plans to study Marketing at Auburn University
and pursue a career in Sales. Her Aunt Candace, who lives in
Atlanta and has been in pharmaceutical sales for the past 16
years, sparked her interest in sales.
