his story
Jack is very involved at Montgomery Catholic, from student
government to sports. He has been on the wrestling team and
played football since seventh grade. He has also participated in
many areas of leadership; Youth Judicial, Youth Legislature, De-
bate, and Student Government Association have kept Jack busy.
He advises freshmen to, “not be lazy in the early grades. Take
freshman year seriously because it is hard to play catch up.”
When asked how he wants to be remembered, Jack answered,
“As me, I am always real and who I am. I am Jack, and I don’t
have to be like anyone else. I walk to the beat of my drum, not
anyone else’s.”
what’s next
After high school, Jack wants to go to med school and become
a doctor. He shared, “I like how I feel when I help people and
that is what being a doctor is about, helping people for a living.”

When asked who has inspired him most, Jack stated, “My mom
and my dad. No one pushes you like your parents, and no
one loves you like your parents. I do what I do to make them
proud, it’s not for me. It’s all for my family. Parents and family
have always told me to work hard and have a strong work ethic.
Whenever I am out and I run into people that know someone
in my family, they are always telling me how a member of my
family has helped or assisted them in some way. I believe that
we have touched the lives of many people.”
Montgomery Catholic
parents’ perspective
Emily and Lee expressed that they admire Jack’s, “Determination
and resilience. There have been struggles and hurdles for Jack to
overcome, but he has always had a determination to reach his goals.
He never quits.”
parent-to-parent
Jack’s parents gave this advice to other parents, “It takes a
village to raise kids today and making sure your village is
the strongest with the best possible people and role models
is something that I have embraced. He has had some wonderful
mentors and role models in his life, and I am so thankful to all of
them for being a part of our village.”
