her story
Claire loves attending her school because ACA is where she has
met some of her closest friends, and where she is challenged
not only academically, but spirituality as well. She is involved
in sports such as JV & Varsity Volleyball and Tennis. She was
named captain of the JV Volleyball team. Claire is also involved
with the Presidential Leadership Institution. When asked what
most people don’t know about her, Claire answered, “Most
people do not know that I want to become bilingual, so I am
studying Italian.” She wants to be remembered as someone who
always strived to be their best. She advises freshmen to start
taking grades and school work seriously in preparation for the
future. She believes that time management is the key to success.

After high school, Claire wants to become a Dermatologist. She
shared her inspiration for wanting to pursue this career field,
“The skin is the largest organ in the human body. The skin is
one of the few organs that can regenerate itself. I want to join
the process in helping people and their skin.”

Claire shared her appreciation for her parents by saying, “My
family and I have a very strong work ethic, and I’m very grate-
ful for that.” The best advice she ever received was from her
dad when he said, “Keep God first and all will fall into place.”
She identified her mom as her biggest inspiration, saying, “She
guides me in ways to prepare me for my future, and she always
knows best. My mom is my best friend.”

Claire’s parents expressed that they admire her love for life and new
opportunities. When asked what makes Claire unique, they shared,
“Her smile will light up the room.” They love listening to Claire and
share that she has always been a guest in their home.
