HOW TO MEET MODELS WHEN YOU ARE
STARTING TO FEEL GOOD WITH THE QUALITY OF
YOUR WORK.

there are quantities of websites
where a photographer can
meet models.
The two more efficient ways
are modelmayhem.com and
portraiture facebook groups in
your area.
In both cases, you can reply to
a model’s casting call or
create a casting call yourself.
Be sure to include the more
information possible ( see
“planning a shoot” section )

Meet up:
A meet up is an event where
models and photographers go to
meet.
Most events are posted on
facebook so try and look for them
You won’t be taking pictures at the
meet up, you’ll meet models and
try to plan a shoot with them for
later.
Meet ups are are a great way to
learn to know your models before
shooting with them.
