WAYS TO MEET MODELS WHEN YOU HAVE A BIT
OF EXPERIENCE AND SOME EXTRA CASH
•
Workshops:
Workshops are the best way to
get experience fast.
I would recommend it to any
photographer that has up to
100$ to spare.
Most workshops are in studios
with an experienced model.
Sometimes, a master in portrait
photography will give you a
short lesson on lighting and
composition.
Workshops are great because
you get to have a professional
photographer to set up the
shoot for you.
•
Paid model:
When you are a bit more
experienced, you can try and
look for a model that you’ll pay
for.
When you start taking portraits,
it’s great to have an
experienced model showing
you the way to go. You can
find models on facebook
groups or on
Modelmayhem.com.
Don’t be surprised of the rates.
An experienced model won’t
model with beginners for free.
Try to keep in mind that
average photo shoots take up
to 2 hours.
