Damages and Losses
Students will pay for any lost or damaged school items. The school is not responsible for students’
personal items and school Insurance does not cover the loss of such items.
Departure Procedure
If your family is leaving the Sacred Heart, please fill out the online Departure form.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Fill out the Departure Form and inform the Registrar. Verbal notice to your child's teacher is not
sufficient.
2. Please allow two weeks for us to prepare the documents and reports required. We ask that parents
keep and file copies of reports issued by Sacred Heart.
3. Please contact the school Registrar, if you need confidential reports sent to a school.
4. For information regarding tuition, contact Mr. Tsuchiya, the Business Manager.
Dances
The following rules will be enforced.
l No motorcycles are allowed on campus.
l Students are not permitted to smoke on campus at any time.
l No drinking of alcoholic beverages or taking of drugs on the campus, or prior to arrival on campus.
l All students and guests are restricted to the Lodge area and the AV room.
l All students and guests must sign in at the door when they arrive.
l Students who wish to leave the dance early, are not permitted to return.
l If students behave inappropriately, they will be asked to leave and their parents will be informed.
l No beverages purchased off campus will be permitted inside.
l In the event of unsafe behavior, a dance may be ended early.
Disciplinary Action (MS/HS)
For minor infringements of school rules, detentions may be set or community service activities required.
In cases where harm has been caused to another, restorative practices are used in preference to
punishment in line with our school goal of Personal Growth in an Atmosphere of Wise Freedom. Major
infringements of school rules may result in suspension or expulsion. In this case, the student may be
readmitted only after consultation with parents. The recording of a suspension may be waived when there
are extenuating circumstances. This means that the suspension will not be recorded in the student’s file if
