According to Dr Stiebel, the company started exporting
to South Africa and other European countries and has a
total of 25 subsidiaries across the world. “We have over
EUR500-million sales all over, with more than 3 000
employees,” he added. During his speech, Dr Stiebel
especially acknowledged the Stiebel Eltron customers
who were attending the launch.
To conclude his speech, Dr Stiebel presented Dereck
and Brenda with a gift as a token of appreciation for
being the company’s partner in South Africa. He also
presented Altmann with a gift to wish him well with
Stiebel Eltron in South Africa. “Thank you very much for
accepting the task of coming here and representing the
management of this company.”
The last speaker to address the audience was Dr Matten.
He said he looked forward to the company’s success in
South Africa. “A lot of people worked very hard to make
this a reality. To all of you, thank you very much.”
Speaking to Plumbing Africa, Altmann said that Dereck
Mocké has been running the business on behalf of
Stiebel Eltron in South Africa as a partner — and
STIEBEL ELTRON Energy Campus.
