Planning and Placement Team( PPT)
Evaluations
Families play an important role in helping us understand their child ' s strengths, interests, and needs. We encourage open communication and collaborative partnerships as we work together to support each child ' s growth and development.
Child Find
Enfield Public Schools participates in Child Find, a statewide effort to identify children who may have developmental delays or disabilities and may benefit from additional evaluation or support.
Families with concerns about their child ' s development are encouraged to:
• Speak with their child ' s teacher
• Contact SELC staff
• Consult with their healthcare provider
• Contact Enfield Public Schools Special Education Services

Planning and Placement Team( PPT)
The Planning and Placement Team( PPT) is responsible for reviewing referral information, evaluation results, eligibility determinations, and educational programming for students who may require special education services.
The PPT may include:
• Parents or guardians
• General education staff
• Special education staff
• Related service providers
• School administrators
• Other educational professionals as appropriate
Families are valued members of the PPT process and are encouraged to actively participate in all meetings and discussions.
