School-Based Supports
SELC is committed to supporting the well-being of children and families by connecting them with resources, services, and community supports that promote healthy development and family success.
Families are encouraged to reach out whenever questions or needs arise. Staff are available to help identify resources and connect families with available supports.
Family Advocates
Family Advocates work collaboratively with families to provide support, information, and connections to community resources. They assist families in accessing services, navigating challenges, and identifying opportunities that support family goals and well-being.
Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center serves as a hub for family learning, support, and engagement. Families may access information about educational programs, community events, parenting resources, and opportunities to connect with other families.

Community Partnerships
SELC partners with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, local agencies, and early childhood programs to support children and families.
When appropriate, staff may assist families in connecting with community resources related to:
• Health and wellness
• Food and nutrition
• Housing and basic needs
• Early childhood services
• School readiness
• Family support services
School-Based Supports
As part of Enfield Public Schools, SELC families may have access to a variety of school-based supports and services. Program staff work with educational teams and district resources to ensure children and families receive appropriate support when needed.
