• Develop plans that support consistent participation
Our goal is to work collaboratively with families to promote regular attendance and support every child ' s learning and development.

Arrival, Dismissal, and Transportation

The safety of every child is a top priority at SELC. Families play an important role in helping ensure safe and consistent arrival, dismissal, and transportation procedures.

Arrival and Dismissal

Consistent routines help children feel secure and support a successful transition between home and school. Families are encouraged to adhere to program arrival and dismissal times whenever possible.
Children who arrive by car should be escorted to their designated classroom entrance by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult. Due to the volume of traffic at SELC, families are asked to park in a designated parking space and walk children to and from the building.

Authorized Pick-Up

Children will only be released to adults listed in PowerSchool emergency contact records unless alternative arrangements have been communicated to and approved by the school.
All adults picking up a child should be prepared to present a valid photo ID when requested.
For a child ' s safety, changes to dismissal arrangements should be communicated to the school as soon as possible.
