Introducing OpenEvidence: Renown’ s Trusted Platform for Clinical Decision Support
Renown has partnered with OpenEvidence, a leading medical information platform, to provide secure and unlimited access to their platform. OpenEvidence is our preferred and trusted medical information platform, and we highly recommend leveraging the platform to integrate evidence-based practice support directly into your workflows.
OpenEvidence enables you to enter clinical questions or patient case details and receive pointof-care answers grounded in the latest research, complete with references and follow-up suggestions. The platform is HIPAA-compliant and already in active use across 10,000 hospitals and medical centers nationwide, with more than 40 % of physicians in the U. S. logging in daily to support high-stakes clinical decisions. With OpenEvidence Visits, you now also have a personal digital clinical assistant that integrates medical intelligence directly into your notes.
This partnership protects and governs protected health information( PHI) used within the OpenEvidence platform and opens up your ability to further personalize your use of OpenEvidence to your patient’ s individual context. This allows for a patient context informed medical information search and AI-supported searching in electronic medical records and summarizations.
This will allow nursing access to OpenEvidence as we will use the Renown Regional NPI number for account creation.
If you have any questions or need support with OpenEvidence, please email our priority support email at help-Renown @ openevidence. com.
Faster and More Secure Lab Results to Enhance Workflow and Communication Across Renown Care Teams
Did you know that approximately 900,000 Point of Care Lab Tests( POCT) are processed each year across Renown Health ' s outpatient locations, including primary care, urgent care, pediatrics and women ' s services?
Our dedicated Medical Assistants( MAs) are often the first point of contact for collecting POCT samples, processing them, entering the data and collaborating with the rest of the care team on the next steps.
