Sabrina Fabara, MD: Dr. Fabara truly went above and beyond this week. With a full plate of patients— many with complex and demanding needs— she never missed a beat. One patient in particular required extra daily attention, and she spent over an hour each day rounding with them and their family, adjusting pain regimens and starting the conversations to help them understand what chronic pain might mean going forward. She visited multiple local hospitals to track one down, then spent time troubleshooting the connections to make sure it worked so the patient could get nutrition. Derrick Moore, MD: Working with Dr. Moore is always a pleasure. He is consistently happy and genial, frequently seen taking vital signs, ambulating patients and bringing warm blankets and pillows.
