Jamie Schnell Blitstein, APRN: Jamie has been instrumental in helping with the high-risk breast cancer clinic at Renown Breast Surgical Oncology. She has tremendous knowledge and has given talks at the Renown APP conference on genetic testing and knowledge sharing. She is passionate about Healthy Nevada, cares deeply for each and every patient, and makes sure they have the clinical information for their positive genetic results. She is making a huge impact in the Northern Nevada community that will be long lasting.- Elizabeth Kang
Nikki Hunt, APRN: I was cleaning up a patient by myself on Tele 7 because I was unable to find anyone to help me and she walked in to round with her patient and immediately jumped in and helped me clean the patient up. I have never experienced anyone in a high-up role like that to help me clean a patient or to do hands-on care and her just jumping in to help me meant a lot and it spoke volumes to me and the patient. Kevin Jensen, PA: Recently, Kevin managed two pediatric laceration cases with exceptional skill and compassion. He provided not only excellent care to the young patients but also reassurance to their families, even in challenging circumstances and one near closing time. Throughout both cases, he took the time to involve me in the process, offering valuable teaching moments and insights that supported my growth as an aspiring provider. Kevin consistently demonstrates kindness, professionalism, and a strong commitment to both patient care and team development. Lillian Morton, APRN: I want to recognize Lillian for being an outstanding provider. When I have questions about treatment plans or moving her patients because they need special accommodations, she is the most responsive provider I have ever had the privilege to work with. I can get the answers I need majority of the time in the moment which is great because often patients are on hold waiting for an answer.
