New Clinical Trials Hub Expands Access to Research
A new Clinical Trials hub on renown. org gives physicians, advanced practice providers, patients and families a central place to explore active clinical research studies across Renown.
The new resource reflects the continued growth of Renown’ s clinical research program, which now includes more than 140 active clinical trials, up from 35 in 2021. Approximately 350 research participants were enrolled in 2025. Trials span specialties including oncology, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, surgery and women’ s health.
As Nevada’ s only AAHRPP-accredited health system, Renown maintains rigorous standards for research quality, safety and patient protections. Through its academic partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Renown continues to expand research opportunities that bring emerging treatments and therapies to patients across the region.
The new online hub allows users to search available trials, review eligibility criteria and study goals and connect with research teams for additional information.

Renown Breaks Ground on New Kiley Ranch Ambulatory Care Center in Sparks
Renown Health took another major step in expanding access to care across northern Nevada on Sept. 22, breaking ground on a new ambulatory care center in the growing Sparks and Spanish Springs community.
The future facility will bring primary care, urgent care, specialty services and diagnostic resources closer to where families live, helping patients access care earlier, more conveniently and closer to home. Located near Pyramid Way, Sparks Boulevard and Highland Ranch Parkway, the facility is on 40 acres in the Spanish Springs area and is expected to open in late 2027.
