You walk into a country with all the respect you can build up in your chest. I am for the Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence. The pledge and moment of silence are a form of respect to a certain country. This is America and we need to respect it like we respect our elders. Our country needs to respect the symbolism of both. The American Flag is a symbol of freedom, liberty, pride, and justice. America is the land of the free. The American flag helped us gain that name.
You cannot be some immigrant and come into our country and not show respect towards our daily procedures. You cannot come into a country and not follow ther rules. Even if you are illegal or not you need to respect their customs, beliefs, and flag. Respecting a foreign country that you are in is of great importance,
The United States flag needs to be respected along with other flags as well. The United States flag has fought in many wars. Some of those wars gave us our freedom. The flag is a very important part of history. The flag is one of the mighty things that still represent our freedom today.
This is America the land of the free it needs to be respected. You cannot be in a foreign country and not respect it. The United States flag needs to be honored and students and staff need a moment of silence to start their day in order to reflect in which ever way they feel needed.
