Short Term Goal
Currently I can lift 30lbs when I’m doing 20 reps of bicep curls for 3 full sets. By June 17th 2014, I want to be able to use 17.5lbs to do 20 reps of bicep curls in order to complete four full sets. I will do this by gradually increasing the weights every week (varying my weights). Additionally, I will also do more
weighted curls such as preacher and reverse. Lastly, I will engage in more arm exercises such as push-ups, bench press and 1 minute plank. I will measure my progress through the weights I use, if I can do 20 reps for four sets with a higher weight than 15lb, it indicates that I am making progress. The reasoning, behind my goal is to develop strong bones, which will help me with daily activites such as carrying a bag. during school days.
