Fats

Fats are one of the three macronutrients that make up a balanced diet, alongside carbohydrates and protein. Fats are needed in your body, but in small amounts. Fats are important for building hormones, keeping us warm, and for absorbing vitamins. Any extra amounts of dietary fats that we eat get stored as body fat. Fats have more calories than proteins or carbohydrates, so it is important to prioritize those that will benefit your body.
There are different types of fats, try to choose the nutritious types.
