He played ball with them in the dirt street or pushed them on their bikes, and always gave them a little candy. They would follow him to his door! Photo by PCV Annette Drews Club GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) is a biweekly camp held for teenage women in the town of Gostivar. Founded by former PCV Meg Pierce, current PCVs Mary Platz (pictured right) and Melissa Hearne organize discussions for the young women on self-esteem, body image, media perceptions of women, and domestic violence, among other topics. The Club has also participated in hikes in the mountains surrounding Gostivar and additional activities relating to volunteerism and the arts are planned.
