Signs of Overexertion Keep track of your symptoms:
• Shortness of breath that does not get
better when you decrease or stop the
activity • If you have any symptoms while
being active, slow down.
• If the symptoms do not get better,
stop the activity.
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• If the symptoms persist, contact your
healthcare provider or call 911.
• Chest pain, fullness, or tightness
• Pain in your arms, shoulders, neck, or
jaw
• Irregular or racing heart rate (pulse)
• Unusual or extreme fatigue
