Lateral Trunk Flexion Lung Expansion Exercises
With hands behind your head, slowly
lean your upper body to the right, then
slowly lean left. Do these exercises to help with breathing
and exercise.
Upper Chest
Breathing
Place one hand on
your upper chest.
Focus on bringing air
into the lung space
below your hand.
Blow out gently and
slowly.
Trunk Rotation
Mid-Chest
Breathing
With hands behind your head, slowly
turn your upper body to the right and
then slowly to the left.
Place your hands on
each side of your rib
cage. Concentrate on
moving your rib cage
out against your hands
as you breathe in.
Blow out slowly and
gently.
