As a former PHSC adjunct instructor , Chris Stambaugh , and his wife , Helen Huntley , have firsthand knowledge of the challenges students encounter while pursuing their degrees . When asked why he supports the Foundation , Stambaugh shared , “ I ’ ve been fortunate and want to make a favorable impact by helping deserving students gain opportunities to be successful .”

The Rotary Club of New Port Richey has been a partner of the PHSC Foundation since 1979 and continues to advance the mission of the College through their generosity . Most recently , they provided a gift to the Rotary Club of New Port Richey Frank Parker Scholarship .
The family of Janis Hill continues to invest in PHSC nursing students in memory of their loved one . Since its establishment in 2019 , the Janis L . Hill Scholarship has financially assisted 13 students .
In loving memory of her son , Jeanette Boyer continues to support PHSC students through the Ken Boyer Memorial Scholarship . Since its inception in 2010 upon Ken ’ s passing , over 15 students have received financial assistance through this scholarship endowment .
