From PHSC to the Minor Leagues
PHSC congratulates baseball alumnus Chris Arroyo, who was selected by the Miami Marlins in the fifth round of the 2025 MLB Player Draft and assigned to the rookie FCL Marlins. Arroyo was reassigned to the Single-A Jupiter Hammerheads on August 5, moving up in his athletic career.
Arroyo played for PHSC during the 2023- 2024 season and provided some incredible numbers as a two-way player: 3.53 earned run average, 62 strikeouts and a 5-4 record with 12 appearances on the mound. He also stood out as an impressive hitter, with 19 home runs, 52 runs batted in and a. 403 batting average.
