Celebrating Dual Enrollment Valedictorians and Salutatorians
Dual enrollment graduates at the PHSC spring commencement ceremony on May 8, 2025, held at the West Campus.
PHSC proudly celebrated the graduating class of 2025 during the Spring Nurse Pinning Ceremony and graduation ceremonies honoring students who earned certificates, associate degrees and bachelor’ s degrees. Approximately 490 degrees and certificates were conferred at the ceremonies. Out of the 900 eligible graduates, 123 dual enrollment students from Pasco County and 31 dual enrollment students from Hernando County graduated with their Associate in Arts degree from PHSC.
Among the graduates were the following high school valedictorians and salutatorians:

• Cypress Creek High School – Valedictorian: Ana Herzek
• Fivay High School – Valedictorian: Jenny Cao and Salutatorian: Gabriella Cordova-Fleitas
• Hudson High School – Salutatorian: Evelyn Boggs
• Pasco High School – Valedictorian: Madison Gocsik
• Sunlake High School – Valedictorian: Samuel Wu
• Wendell Krinn Technical High School – Valedictorian: Montana Montayre and Salutatorian: Alexis Kostin
• Wiregrass Ranch High School – Valedictorian: Austin McCallister and Salutatorian: Nicholas Kovacs
• Pasco eSchool – Valedictorian: Camryn Hoffman
• Hernando High School – Valedictorian: Madison L. Martin, Salutatorian: Chloe Grace Warner
• Springstead High School – Valedictorian: Lillian Groudas
Samuel Wu
Samuel Wu graduated through PHSC’ s dual enrollment program with an Associate in Arts degree and was recognized as valedictorian alongside his high school diploma from Sunlake High School. Wu expressed that“ earning my degree while still in high school has really helped me jumpstart my college experience. Earning my AA allows me to go right into my major, having already covered all my general education and prerequisites.” Looking ahead, Wu plans to attend the University of Florida to continue his education with advanced coursework.
