Community Partner Provides Emergency Relief

Following the devastation of Hurricanes Helene and Milton last fall, the Community Foundation Tampa Bay( CFTB) generously donated $ 25,000 to the Bobcat Emergency Relief Fund. This fund offers critical support to students facing financial hardship, ensuring they can continue their education without interruption.

The donation was allocated to address urgent needs such as housing, transportation and academic-related expenses, allowing students to stay focused on their studies during difficult times.
Ana Guardia, a recent Bachelor of Science in Nursing program graduate, benefited from the Bobcat Emergency Relief Fund last fall.“ I am so grateful to be a recipient of the Bobcat Emergency Relief Fund. During a time of uncertainty and fear, the assistance provided some peace of mind, and I was able to replace all the food that my family and I had lost during the hurricane due to power outages. I am forever grateful for the kindness shown to me through this support. Thank you!” shared Guardia.
