Beth Mittelstedt — Marketing Director for Hemp Haze  Beth works in marketing because she loves to take a vision in the owner’s mind and help them trans- late it, and then bring it to life through creative ways. Most people will find it interesting that Beth loves to travel to and even live in other countries. “My last adventure was to Baja California South, or the BCS,” she explained. “I sold and gave away my home and everything that wouldn’t fit in my car, loaded up my dog and drove down there to live by myself. I didn’t really know anyone, but it was one of my dreams to live in another country, so I just took the leap and did it. I lived there for a year and a half before moving back.” Her best piece of advice? “No amount of security is worth the suffer- ing of a mediocre life, chained to a routine that has killed your dreams,” (by Maya Mendoza). Beth would most like to be remembered as a loving, inspirational person who was full of life and brave enough to chase her dreams and courageous enough to be ridiculously happy. Ashley Stambulic — Superhero in Hospice Care  80 Through personal experience, Ashley understands how difficult death is to deal with. “I am very passionate about not only being able to keep my patients comfortable and giving them the best care possible, but also being a pillar of strength and understand- ing for the friends and family.” Most people will find it interest- ing that Ashley has done missionary work throughout the state of Texas and also in South America. “Every time it was a beautiful and life-changing experience,” she explained. Ashley is the first to admit that she had a rough start as a child, and made some pretty big mistakes. “Through personal strength, and the help of a few who believe in me, I am a walking, talking poster child of change. I am proud that my past shaped me into the resil- ient woman I am today.” Her best piece of advice? “Change your thinking, change your life.”
