School Report Card Data Now Available

District-wide data for Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) is now available at
the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction website at: http://www.
ncreportcards.org/src/.
The district-level data indicates that Cabarrus County Schools continues
to make progress on measures outlined in state and federal standards.
Cabarrus County Schools receives feedback from the state on two levels for
the state report cards: school progress and system progress.
Thirty-four out of 37 schools achieved Expected or High Growth for
the 2012-2013 school year. Twenty-seven of our schools met 90 percent
or more of the Annual Measurable Objectives. These objectives measure a
large variety of subgroups within a school, including ethnicity, economically
disadvantaged students, students with disabilities, and limited English
proficient students.
In 13 out of
