Fries Magnet School team named Best in State winners in the Verizon 2014 Innovative App Challenge now have been selected as Best in Region. Their app now will be considered for the Best in Nation award! The team’s app is a study app for teachers and students, allowing teachers and students easy communication about assignments and lessons. As a regional winner, the team earns a $5,000 grant and will receive virtual training on coding and support from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab’s app development experts to help bring their app
